"This is definitely one of the most special accomodation in the world. Simply breathtaking! Visit this place in the best winter times and you won't regret anything. The place is so amazing, comfortable igloos (some even with your own sauna), great staff and delicious food in the restaurant. Lying in bed and watching the northern lights dance.. wow. Bucketlist place! "

Great place for a quiet break

"I came here with my wife for her birthday and it was a very relaxing place if you want to escape cities, tv and the internet. We stayed in the Aurora Cabin which was worth it for indoor Aurora views in comfort of heating while being able to use a tripod to take pictures through the glass. "

Place we'll never forget

"Our stay in Muotka was a magical experience. We stayed at the aurora cabin and had a chance to saw dancing aurora from our bed cabin. It was such wonderful night. The cabin itself is nicely accommodated, warm, clean, comfy bed, and has sauna in the bahtroom which was really nice to use during the cold wintertime. Staffs was nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, we saw a reindeer from the breakfast room. It's truly an amazing experience! "

How to reach us?

MUOTKA IS EASY TO REACH WHETHER YOU ARE ARRIVING WITH AIR OR LAND TRANSPORTATION!

If you wish to use air transportation, we recommend to take a flight to Ivalo Airport. The flight between Helsinki and Ivalo is approximately 1,5 hours. If you wish to use land transportation, we recommend to take a train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and then a public bus from Rovaniemi to Muotka.
