Fantastic trip to the Finnish Lapland
"A few days based at this hotel is an experience not to be missed. Fantastic trips out into the Finnish Lapland with all cold weather gear provided and lovely local guides. The hotel is so well built and very quiet and relaxed. The staff coldn't be more helpful. The food is delicious (although a single set menu) and with notice, they will cater for all diets. A very romantic setting for those so inclined.  "

Perfect Christmas
"We spent Christmas at the Hotel Nangu and it could not have been more enjoyable. The people are delightful and the experiences of all the activities are amazing. The guides are such lovely people and give you a real taste of outdoor living in Finland. We especially enjoyed the dog sledding and snow shoeing and hopefully will do this again. The cold weather kit was really good.  "

How do I get there?

NANGU IS EASY TO REACH WHETHER YOU ARE ARRIVING WITH AIR , WATER OR LAND TRANSPORTATION

If you wish to use air transportation, we recommend to take a flight to Ivalo Airport. The flight between Helsinki and Ivalo is approximately 1,5 hours. Finnair operates between Helsinki and Ivalo daily all year round. 

If you wish to use land transportation, we recommend to take a train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and then a public bus from Rovaniemi to Ivalo. You can reach us also by own car or own boat.
