Kaamos (n.) — the deep polar night of Lapland, from late November to mid-January, when sunlight disappears below the horizon and the world glows with twilight and northern lights.

In the heart of the Arctic night, Kaamos celebrates pure Nordic flavors. Our chefs work with fire, using an authentic charcoal grill to bring warmth, depth, and soul to every ingredient. Here, nature’s raw beauty is transformed into an unforgettable dining experience.

At Wilderness Hotel Saariselkä, breakfast and lunch are served from a generous buffet, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients chosen with care.

In the evening, you’re invited to enjoy a memorable dinner experience that begins with a fresh and flavorful starter table. You main course will be served at your table. To finish, indulge in our generous dessert and cheese selections, a sweet finale with something for every taste.

If you have special dietary needs, please inform us in advance. Our chefs will be more than happy to prepare meals which meet your dietary requirements or special requests.

You can book your stay with either half board or full board. Note that most of our ready-made packages include full board.
