Witness nature phenomena

No matter when you are staying in Lapland, there is always something amazing going on in our nature. The most known phenomena are Northern Lights. They appear to the sky in autumn and can be seen until the early spring. In winter you can also experience the most magical polar nights, when the sun doesn't rise above the horizon at all. In the end of January we start to get more and more sunlight to our days until the sun doesn't set at all. In summertime you can enjoy the sun even in the middle of the night. In autumn the nature starts preparing itself for the winter. Then you can experience the glory of autumn colors, when everything turns red, yellow, orange and purple.

ALL OF OUR DESTINATIONS, NELLIM, MUOTKA, INARI, JUUTUA AND NANGU, ARE EASILY REACHABLE WHETHER YOU ARE ARRIVING WITH AIR OR LAND TRANSPORTATION!

All our Wilderness Hotels are in Northern Lapland, about 300 km north from the Arctic Circle. The closest airport is in Ivalo, which is about 30 to 60 minutes drive from each of the Wilderness Hotels. We offer transfer services from Ivalo airport to our hotels. The hotels can be reached from the Rovaniemi direction by bus. Please see more information from FAQ.
