How to reach Wilderness Hotel Saariselkä

  • For air travel, we recommend flying to Ivalo Airport, with a 1.5-hour flight from Helsinki. Finnair offers daily flights year-round. Then we can arrange a transfer from Ivalo airport to Saariselkä (40 minutes drive away).
  • For land travel, take a train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, then a public bus to Saariselkä. You can check bus schedules on MATKAHUOLTO and we recommend getting off at the Saariselkä Holiday Club bus stop. From there, we can arrange a transfer to our hotel, which must be booked in advance.
  • Note that Wilderness Hotel Saariselkä is located just a couple of kilometers from the center of Saariselkä village.
