Program
Day 1. Arrival
Meet the airport transfer at Ivalo airport and transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival you will receive your program schedule for following days. After check in it´s time for dinner. Depending on your arrival time, cold weather gear is given to you either upon arrival or the next day.
Days 2.-3.
Family Husky Safari
You will be taught how to handle the sled before you head out for the husky safari, where the huskies will pull your sled through the beautiful winter scenery.
The dogs’ excitement is infectious and as the animals fall silent on the trail, you will realize that this is the only way to see Lapland. All our husky safaris include full instruction and are based on two people sharing a sled unless otherwise stated.
Reindeer Farm Visit
On this visit you will be transferred by car to a local reindeer farm, where you will meet the reindeer herders and learn about the importance of reindeer in Lapland.
Snowmobile Safari
This tour is perfect for those who have never tried snowmobiling before. First you will get familiar with the snowmobile, have full safety instructions and a driving lesson. After everyone feels comfortable, we will head out for a small journey into the nearby surroundings trough the beautiful Lappish sceneries. Children are sitting in a sleigh which is behind guide's snowmobile.
Aurora camp
This activity takes you to the amazing surroundings of Inari. You will be comfortably seated in a sledge that is pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. This way you can enjoy the northern sky all the way to the camp site. At the camp there is a hut with an open fire to warm us up on a cold night of Aurora hunting. At the camp we will prepare pancakes by open fire and have some warm drinks to keep us warm. The camp has a minimum amount of light pollution, so it is perfect for viewing the Northern Lights that will hopefully show up in the sky.
Meet the Santa
Private meeting with gentle red giant, also known as Santa Claus! Have a nice chat with Santa, who gives a small present for everyone.
Day 4. Departure
Breakfast and transfer back to Ivalo airport. Farewell Lapland!

All safaris start with full safety instructions. Our experienced guides will show you how to drive your snowmobile and provide you with a full safety briefing before you hit the trails. Children 4-14 years will be in a sleigh pulled by your guide with snowmobile, price reduction -30%.
All snowmobile safaris have a self-liability of maximum 1000 €/snowmobile.
