Aktiviteetti, joka jokaisen Nellimiin tulevan pitäisi kokea. Ennen varsinaista husky-ajelua, teidät koulutetaan käsittelemään valjakkoa. Lyhyen opastuksen jälkeen lähdemme liikkeelle, jonka aikana näette uskomattoman kauniit talvimaisemat, ohittaen jäätyneen Inarijärven. Koirien jännitys on tarttuvaa. Kun eläimet hiljenevät polulla, huomaat, että tämä on ainoa tapa nähdä Lappi ja sen kauneus. Kaikki huskysafarit sisältävät täydellisen opetuksen, jossa opastetaan kahta kelkkaan menevää henkilöä, ellei toisin mainita.

Lähde moottorikelkkailemaan Nellimin mahtavaan maastoon. Nellimin ympäristö tarjoaa runsaasti erilaista ajettavaa, upeita maisemia ja luonnon ylhäisyyttä. Ennen ajoa käymme läpi moottorikelkkailun perusteet, joten retki soveltuu myös aloittelijoille. Päivän aikana nautimme maittavan lounaan tulen äärellä ja tarjolla on lämmintä juotavaa.

Illan tullen lähdemme revontulten metsästykseen lumikelkoilla. Matka tapahtuu oppaan johdolla maastossa, joka on mahdollisimman avaraa ja näin turvallista sekä sopivaa revontulten bongaukseen. Revontulten ilmestyessä pysäytämme kelkat ja ihailemme revontulten tanssia. Retken aikana oppaamme tekee nuotion, jonka äärellä pääsette nauttimaan kuumista juomista.
Retkeä edeltää ohjeistus moottorikelkkojen turvallista käyttöä varten.
Retken aikana yhdessä moottorikelkassa istuu kaksi henkilöä. Jos haluat ajaa omaa kelkkaa, niin 100 euron lisämaksulla se on mahdollista.

Porotilaretki on kokemus kaikenikäisille. Retki tehdään autolla tai moottorikelkan vetämässä reessä. Porotilalla tapaat porotilallisen, näet poroja ja voit päästä ruokkimaan niitä.

During this day you will learn interesting facts about the life up here in the North. We will have a nice snowmobile sleigh ride to best ice-fishing spots. Our guide will teach us how to make some holes through the ice and then we try who is the best fisherman. If we are lucky enough to catch some fish, we might cook it by open fire! If you prefer a nice gentle walk in a beautiful snowy surrounding, this is the tour for you. We will equip you with snowshoes and poles if preferred. We are going to head for a nice little walk in the surrounding nature. Along the way, our guide will share interesting stories and information about the Finnish nature and animals. This is a perfect way to explore the surroundings in peace.

In the old times, cross country skiing used to be the most common method of transportation, and all Finns have this skill in their blood. There is no more silent method to go through frozen and snowy sceneries than cross country skis. Guide will teach you how to use the skis, and once everyone has the hang of it, we will have a nice loop in the surrounding nature. We will be skiing with no hurry, stopping to take pictures and enjoy warm drinks on the way.

During this trip, we will be travelling by car to the famous Paatsjoki Bridge. As the River Paatsjoki never freezes, it offers the most amazing reflections from the open water when the Aurora Borealis appear. This bridge is also very popular location among Aurora photographers. We will spend the evening on the bridge, having some hot drinks to keep us warm.

Ice fishing is one of the most popular winter activities in the area.
Join us on an ice fishing experience! Once we have reached the ice of a wilderness lake, our guide will teach us the secrets of this popular winter activity among the locals. We will learn how to drill holes to the ice, how to operate the fishing gear and then it’s time to try our luck. Some warm drinks are served to keep us warm while we wait for the fish to bite in the beautiful scenery of the arctic lake.

We will head to the Aurora hunting on the amazing Lake Inari. You can enjoy the northern sky all the way to the campsite. The atmosphere by the campfire is an experience in itself. We will enjoy the blazing campfire with hot drinks and each other’s company. PRO TIP! Lake Inari is one of the best places in the world for Aurora viewing since there is no light pollution at all.
