Holiday Program
Day 1. Arrival
Welcome to Lapland! You will be greeted at the airport with a hotel sign and transferred to Wilderness Hotel Juutua (approx. 45 min). Upon arrival, you will receive your program schedule before dinner.
Day 2.-7. Activities
Inari Day
After a tasteful breakfast it is time to visit the Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center (both indoor and outdoor exhibition). This exhibition is full of information about Sámi culture and history as well as nature up in the north. After Siida visit we will have a nice sightseeing tour around Inari village and Jäniskoski rapids at River Juutua. At the rapids we will enjoy outdoor picnic by open fire. The parish village of Inari is the centre for Finland’s Sámi culture. The village charms the visitors and locals with its unique wild nature and versatile cultures. .
Hiking Trip
After breakfast it’s time for a relaxing hike in beautiful surroundings of the Inari village. In autumn the nature is full of beautiful colours and curious animals. Your guide will tell you interesting facts about Finnish nature and if you have a bit of luck with you, maybe you’ll see some reindeer. We will have lunch by the open fire during the trip.
Husky Farm Visit
This trip will take you to visit lovely husky dogs. These hard-working dogs are made for the Winter but during Summer & Autumn training is important. We will start from Wilderness Hotel Juutua and we will take you to a Husky farm. At the farm you will hear about huskies and their life here in the North. If we are lucky there might be also some puppies to see at the farm.

Lake Inari Cruise
Experience the beauty of the largest lake of Lapland, home to over 3300 islands, with our Lake Inari Cruise. We'll cruise around the sacred Ukko Island (or Ukko’s Rock), historically used as a Sámi sacrificial offering site until the 19th century, and admire its spectacular beauty from a short distance. A packed lunch will be provided for the day.

Autumn Aurora Camp
Chase the Northern Lights! Autumn aurora camp is one of our well-known aurora gazing activities. We head to our camp side, where we will have the best possibilities to observe the evening sky and hopefully even see those magical Northern Lights! In our camp place we will prepare small snacks and warm drinks by the open fire.
Day 8. Departure
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Ivalo Airport. It’s time to say goodbye to Wilderness Hotel Juutua and head towards new adventures. We hope you had the best holiday with us in Lapland and wish to see you again!
