Holiday Program
Day 1. Arrival
Welcome to Lapland! You will be greeted at the airport with a hotel sign and transferred to Wilderness Hotel Inari (approx. 45 min). Upon arrival, you will receive your program schedule before dinner.
Day 2.-7. Activities
Inari Day (4-5hrs)
Enjoy a cultural and nature-filled day in Inari with a visit to the renowned Siida Museum, where you’ll explore the rich heritage of Sámi culture and Arctic nature. Afterward, take a scenic walk to the Juutua River, a serene spot perfect for relaxation and photography. The experience includes a picnic lunch in the beautiful outdoors, making it an ideal blend of learning and sightseeing.
Hiking Trip (3hrs)
Hear the wind and the birds and enjoy the beauty of wilderness landscapes. If you are willing to have a direct touch with the nature of this area, this activity is meant for you. You will enjoy picnic in the middle of beautiful sceneries hearing stories told by our experienced wilderness guide. If we are lucky during the trip we might see also some wild animals like reindeer and willow grouse.
Husky Farm Visit (1,5hrs)
This trip will take you to visit lovely husky dogs. These hard-working dogs are made for the Winter but during Summer & Autumn training is important. We will start from Wilderness Hotel Inari and we will take you to a Husky farm. At the farm you will hear about huskies and their life here in the North. If we are lucky there might be also some puppies to see at the farm.

Lake Inari Cruise (2,5hrs)
Experience the beauty of the largest lake of Lapland, home to over 3300 islands, with our Lake Inari Cruise. We'll cruise around the sacred Ukko Island (or Ukko’s Rock), historically used as a Sámi sacrificial offering site until the 19th century, and admire its spectacular beauty from a short distance. A packed lunch will be provided for the day.

Autumn Aurora Camp (2,5hrs)
Chase the Northern Lights! Autumn aurora camp is one of our well-known aurora gazing activities. We head to our camp side, where we will have the best possibilities to observe the evening sky and hopefully even see those magical Northern Lights! In our camp place we will prepare small snacks and warm drinks by the open fire.
Day 8. Departure
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Ivalo Airport. It’s time to say goodbye to Wilderness Hotel Inari and head towards new adventures. We hope you had the best holiday with us in Lapland and wish to see you again!
