WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CLEANING MANAGER FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT
Nellim Wilderness Hotels and Safaris Oy is one of Lapland's leading tourism companies and our hotel chain includes five hotels: Wilderness Hotel Nellim, Wilderness Hotel Muotka, Wilderness Hotel Inari, Wilderness Hotel Nangu and Wilderness Hotel Juutua.
Your job description as a cleaning manager includes tasks related to managing the cleaning work of our hotel chain as well as practical cleaning work. Your job would be cleaning the common spaces and hotel rooms of hotel buildings, managing personnel, organizing cleaning work, placing orders for cleaning supplies and acting as a contact person with, for example, the laundry. In addition, good IT skills are necessary, as different computer systems are used in the work, both for creating shift lists and for checking the hotel's reservation status. The cleaning manager also participates in the cleaning work outside of the winter season, which requires proficiency with the practical cleaning work. We are looking for a person for the position who can organize even large entities and who has quick problem-solving skills, an aesthetic eye, is capable of independent self-initiated work and has mastered personnel management skills. Previous education or experience working in the field is considered an advantage. You also have a service-oriented and cheerful attitude, because in your work you will meet hotel guests who are happy to ask e.g., about the hotel and the services it offers.
We expect you to

• have a B driver's license (you use the hotel's cleaning car)
• speak helpful Finnish
• not be afraid of responsibility
• know how to assist others when necessary
• also be able to communicate in English
Employment: We offer you a full-time 112.5/3-week employment contract that is valid until further notice. Salary is according to a contract. If necessary, we assist in the search of an apartment and the work begins according to an agreement.
