Program
Day 1. Arrival
Arrival to Ivalo Airport and transfer to Wilderness Hotel Juutua (approx. 40 min). Enjoy a welcome dinner and settle in your accommodation.
Day 2.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Inari Day: Hiking trip to Juutua river and visit to Siida
After a tasteful breakfast it is time to have some fresh air and make a nice hiking trip by Juutua River. We will also visit Jäniskoski rapids and have a nice outdoor lunch by the fire. After hiking outside we will visit the Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center (both indoor and outdoor exhibition). This exhibition is full of information about Sámi culture and history as well as nature up in the north. After Siida visit we will have a nice sightseeing tour around Inari village before heading back to the hotel.The parish village of Inari is the centre for Finland’s Sámi culture. The village charms the visitors and locals with its unique wild nature and versatile cultures.

Day 3.
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning.

Lake Inari Cruise
Lake Inari Cruise is an easy way to experience the biggest arctic wilderness lake in Northern Lapland. Lake Inari is the third largest lake in Finland and is home to over 3300 islands. The sacred Ukko Island (or Ukko’s Rock) was historically used as a Sámi sacrificial offering site right up until the 19th century. We will cruise around the island and admire the spectacular Ukko from a short distance.

Day 4. Departure
It’s time to say goodbye to the Wilderness Hotel. Breakfast and airport transfer back to Ivalo airport.
