To start of your day, you'll be chauffeured from Nangu to a Sami Village by car. Upon arrival, prepare to meet both reindeer and huskies, promising delightful encounters throughout the day!

On this snowmobiling tour, you will head to Lake Inari in search of northern lights, looking for the best spots to view the open night sky. Driving distance depends on the weather conditions – if the sky looks promising, we will make more stops to admire the northern lights that will hopefully appear for us.
What’s included?
Aurora Hunt by Car is one of our well-known aurora gazing activities. We will try to hunt down the Auroras with a car. In good weather, we will head for one of the specific camp spots, to try and photograph this phenomenon. If the weather doesn’t look so promising, we’ll head further out in search of clearer skies. During the trip, the guide will serve some warm drinks and snacks. This relaxing trip is suitable for everyone!

In the old times, cross country skiing used to be the most common method of transportation, and all Finns have this skill in their blood. Ice fishing is one of the most popular winter activities in Inari.
Join our guide on an ice fishing adventure on the ice of Lake Inari, the third biggest lake in Finland. Our journey will start with a short snowmobile sleigh ride on the ice to our fishing place. Once we have reached our destination our guide will teach us the secrets of this popular winter activity among the locals. We will learn how to drill holes to the ice, how to operate the fishing gear and then it’s time to try our luck. Some warm drinks are served to keep us warm while we wait for the fish to bite in the beautiful scenery of the arctic lake.
First you will get familiar with the snowmobile with our guide, have full safety instructions and a driving lesson. Once everyone feels comfortable with the machine, we will head out for a small journey in the nearby surroundings.
